Full Description
Fume Extraction Fans
We offer a wide range of chemical resistant fume extraction fans, (also commonly known as plastic or polypropylene fans) which are ideal for extracting chemical fumes. Polypropylene plastic fans for though work environments in Laboratories, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Our fume extraction fans are manufactured in recyclable polypropylene and offer an economic and lightweight alternative to more expensive stainless steels and nickel alloys when handling corrosive fumes and gases.
Our standard range of polypropylene centrifugal fans are suitable for hazardous environments where airflows of 2000m³/h to 17,000m³/h are required.
Chemical resistant fans are corrosion resistant and can be specified as an ATEX fan, which is ideal for working environments where there are potentially explosive atmospheres. Plastic fans are designed to be run at ambient temperatures and can be situated either indoors or outdoor use.
Fume extraction fans can also be specified in either single or three-phase.
The industrial fume extract fans are specially designed for local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems where high pressure is required in volatile working environments. The motor bracket for the range is made from powder-coated steel, whilst the impeller can be specified with either forward or backwards curved blades.

The Right Chemical Resistant Fume Extraction Fan Solution for You
Auto Extract Systems can help specify and design the right LEV system for your business's requirements. We only use the highest quality products and installations come complete with a 12-month installation warranty.
Chemical resistant fume extraction fans are to be used in conjunction with several products, from our fume extraction, dust extraction or vehicle exhaust extraction range. At-source capture hoods will capture the contaminants in the LEV system and draw them towards the centrifugal fan, and depending on the working process will expel particulates via a filtration unit, or directly to the atmosphere via a high-velocity cowl, as per HSG258: Controlling Airborne Contaminants at Work: A Guide to Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV).

What Other Products Go Well With Fume Extraction Fans?
A fume extraction fan is most effective when used in conjunction with other types of products and accessories. Whether you require additional components to go with a fan depends on several factors, including your operational tasks, environment size and installation location.
One product that you can pair with a fume extraction fan is an extraction arm. Extraction arms provide a flexible solution for capturing harmful contaminants. The arm can be easily moved to capture fumes and dust at the source. Extraction arms connect to a hose that removes hazardous particles before they have a chance to reach workers. We offer fume extraction arms and laboratory extraction arms, providing businesses with plenty of choices to implement a solution that suits them the most.
Another product from Auto Extract that you can use with a fume extraction fan is a cabinet. Fume cabinets are ideal for situations where maximum efficiency is necessary when extracting harmful fumes. The cabinets are designed to allow operators to see through the cabinet while working, yet protecting them at all times by safely controlling exposure. The fume extract fan will collect and dispose of fumes before they become airborne. Certain environments, such as laboratories, may require fans that can withstand corrosive fumes or explosive gasses.
