Welding Fume Extractor
The mobile welding fume extractor is ideal for a variety of working environments including, vehicle workshops and engineering workshops for welding processes. Mobile welding fume extractor units feature a two or three-metre-long externally supported a hose extraction arm that’s available with a 160mm diameter and can deliver airflows and filtration of 1,200m3/h.
Features and Benefits
Plug-in and Go - From delivery, the mobile welding fume extractor is almost ready to go. The extraction arm requires bolting on to the filtration and fan unit. Then it's just a case of plugging in and off you go - EASY!
Three Pin Plug - Universal, plug it in at your work station, switch it on, manoeuvre the capture hood and off you go.
Flexible Hose Extraction Arm - Available in either 2m or 3m lengths and comes complete with a swivel functionality at the base of the arm and gas-strut to easy enable you to position the extraction hood at the welding process to safely capture and remove the welding fumes captured.
Externally Mounted Supports - External supports give the user better suction as the hood, as with internal mounted supports (commonly found on other manufacturer's modes) disrupt the airflow from the fan to the hood and reduce the pressure and velocity.
Capture Hood - The capture hood has been engineered to feature and capitalise on the coanda effect. A engineering design principle that fighter jets use to 'stick' an airflow to a convex surface. This helps the mobiile welding fume extractor by increasing suction area.
Hood Handle - A convenient handle has been located on the top of the capture hood to aid the operator and ensure it can be easily positioned at the work piece to ensure it captures contaminants given off at the working process.
Lockable Castor Wheels - The unit features 4 castor wheels, so it's easy to manoeuvre to the desired location in your workshop. In addition, two of the wheels are lockable, to help prevent it rolling away.
