The Product
Both hi-vac fixed/semi-flexible drops local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems offer bodyshop facilities effective dust control solutions. Both fixed or semi-flexible drop hi-vacuum solutions provide a powerful and reliable dust extraction solution which returns captured dust to a centralised filtration unit.
Drops (or points) are modular and can provide power to the working area, which reduces the risk of trip hazards from trailing wires and cables. Numerous points can all connect into a singular hi-vacuum system to effectively and efficiently remove dust at-source from where the tool's being used. This reduces the quantity of contaminants in the workplace and employee's productivity.
Fixed Drop Systems
Auto Extract Systems fixed drops (fixed point drops) for dust extraction are static points attached to a workshop wall, building structure or main steelwork. These are completed with a clamp, vacuum flap and y-fork to suit the dust hoses suitable for the system. These fixed drops are used in conjunction with a centralised dust filtration unit.
Semi-Flexible Drops
Auto Extract Systems semi-flexible drops for dust extraction comprise of 50mm diameter solid steel pipe suspended from high level via a short flexible connection to the mainline ductwork. These are usually completed with a clamp, vacuum flap and y-fork to suit the dust hoses suitable for the system. These semi-flexible drops are used in conjunction with a centralised dust filtration unit.
