Forklift Exhaust Filter
Auto Extract Systems' high-temperature forklift truck exhaust filter range is designed for temporary or permanent installation on forklifts, heavy vehicles and industrial plants, generators, cranes and equipment for moving vehicles within confined or internal areas where the installation of a fixed vehicle exhaust extraction system is inappropriate or financially unrealistic.
We have various options available, which include the HT10, HT20 and HT35 and each offer different filter life ranges, maximum engine volumes and exhaust diameters.
How does the Forklift Exhaust Filter Work?
The forklift exhaust filter is positioned in line with the vehicle exhaust to capture fumes and dust in a specially formulated exhaust fume filter, however, minor vehicle modifications may be required, as these units are permanently fitted to the vehicle's body to capture gases from the exhaust systems.
Please note, the forklift filters are only suitable for daily use and should be disconnected for diesel particulate filter dpf regeneration processes.

How do Forklift Exhaust Filters Work?
Exhaust filters for cars easily push directly on to the exhaust pipe and are effective as soon as the when the engine's started. They have a filter within the unit to capture particulates after the catalytic converter and diesel particulate filters to help reduce air pollution in the workplace. However, it must be noted that they are unable to filter carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide gases.
- The Capture Nozzle - Easy to fit directly on a vehicle's exhaust pipe and are effective immediately when the engine starts.
- Membrane Indicator - Indicator to alert the user when the filter's full of captured particles and needs replacing.
- Particulate Filter - Filters are inexpensive, can be used on the majority of exhaust pipes and are over 99% efficient.
What are the Dangers?
| Emissions include over 40 substances that are listed as hazardous air pollutants and 15 of them are listed as carcinogenic to humans. Exhaust fume can either appear as a grey or black smoke, or be invisible. People can only see particles down to 20 microns. New-generation diesel engines produce 15 to 35 times more smaller particles than old-generation diesel engines. |
