Clamp-On Rubber Nozzle (REGD)
This REGD incorporates an elliptical flexible rubber moulding complete with an integral clamping mechanism for positive connection. It allows for exhausts to be clamped without the external face of the exhaust pipe being damaged or scratched and for connection to awkwardly positioned tailpipes. A quality graduated damper complete with rubber seal allows the nozzle to be closed when not in use and protect system pressure. It is available in two sizes at the clamping end, 115mm and 160mm diameter and is ideal for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Hose ends are available in 75mm, 100mm, 125 & 150mm diameters. Please quote hose bore size when ordering. An REG model is available without the damper for single point systems.
Push-on Rubber Nozzle (AES 16)
The AES 16 nozzle can accommodate exhaust pipe diameters up to 100mm diameter. Connection is effected by simply pushing onto the vehicle exhaust and allowing the central part of the exhaust to open up and self grip. Two models available can provide both open and self-sealing options. AES offer an exclusive totally crushproof double diameter (75mmm and 100mm diameter) rubber reducer that replaces old metal inserts that can be easily crushed by operators or vehicles.
Clamp-on Metal (MEN)
Where high exhaust temperatures are anticipated use of a metal nozzle is recommended. This design incorporates a self sealing flap valve and internal spring clip for locating onto the vehicle exhaust.
Vertical Exhaust Pipe Nozzle (STACK)
When vehicle exhaust fumes are discharged from a vertical exhaust stack a drop-on metal nozzle is recommended. The AES stacker nozzle is available in two sizes and can accommodate vehicle exhausts up to 250mm dia.
Free Standing Nozzle (AU-PV)
When monitoring and analysis of the exhaust gases is required a free standing nozzle is used. This allows the sampling probe to be inserted into the vehicle exhaust, whilst still fully entraining the generated exhaust fume. Without this unit the flow of gas from the vehicle may be affected by the airflow. This specialised unit allows for tilting of the unit to accommodate exhausts either at the back or underneath the vehicle pointing downwards.
Y-Piece for twin exhausts
These assemblies are for vehicles with two exhausts e.g. Jaguar's, Audi's and BMW's etc. They incorporate 2 x 1.25m long rubber crush-resistant hoses and a metal 'Y' piece which joins the two hoses together and can be added to any single existing point or supplied as loose equipment to be used on all points. Other type nozzles and hose diameters are available.
