In vehicle Exhaust Extraction applications the exhaust extraction reels are fitted with MSR-24/2 switches and a PCU 1000 control panel. This enables the reels to be pulled down to operate the extraction fan automatically. This also means that the fan isnt running all the time and can be used to conserve energy costs.
Control Box - (PCU 1000)
PCU-1000 - This enables many points to be linked up and the fan be controlled by the pulling down of a reel, arcing of a welding torch or any way in which any signal can be sensed. It can save money due to the fact that fans are not left on all the time but can be used on demand.
Micro Switch - (MSR-24/2)
MSR-24/2 - bespoke micro-switches to each reel only for fan starting, it comes complete with a short cable tail with 4 wires for the electrician to pick up and wire back to main control panel. This works by means of starting the fan with the pull down of the first reel and switching the fan off with the return.
Motorised Hose Reel Control (RRC-230)
This equipment can be supplied to motorised hose reels to provide the user with a handheld radio transmitter remote control to operate the up/down movement of the reel with simple push button control. Use in conjunction with MSR-24 & PCU-1000 and the system is fully automated to start/stop the fan with the up/down of the reel.
