Plant & Equipment Extraction
Typical Boom arm System with High temperature hoses
Capturing fumes 'at source' is the most efficient way of eliminating heavy plant & machinery exhaust fume problems which are normally found within manufacturing facilities & servicing workshops.
Operating with larger engines with greater power outputs and generating significantly increased exhaust gas temperatures requires the use of high temperature hoses and an increased extraction airflows.
Option include;- Spring Recoiled Reels with high temperature hoses and connections or articulated boom type dropper either with spring balancer supported hoses or with bayonet couplings at 2 metre level for hose removal and storage. This is so increased lengths of extraction hose can access larger parts of a workshop with enhanced coverage of the vehicles using less points.
Flexible Exhaust Boom - (FEB) Self Supporting Articulated Arm
Spring Recoiled Exhaust Hose Reels - (SER)
See 'Types of Systems' etc for other elements of the solution including nozzles and extraction fan.
New HSE guidelines for Deisel emmissions have been issued - see `AES News` for latest guidance.
