Metallic & Non-Metallic Dusts
Metallic & Non-Metallic Dusts: Extraction Fans
Centrifugal Fans
Our TEV-series fans are design to be used as central fans. These fans are equipped with a light weight aluminium impeller, suited to exhaust gases, volatile fumes and dust. Matched inlet and outlet areas provide, together with the optimized impellers, an even air flow, higher capacity and lower noise level.
Axial Fans
Available in fixed and variable pitch impeller fans and are designed to handle large volumes of air against low resistance to flow. Often speed controllable by voltage variation except in larger sizes where variable frequency inverter drive may be recommended. In order to develop maximum pressure the fan impeller needs to be surrounded by a tube or purpose designed wallplate.
Acid Resistant Fans
Due to the circuit pressure losses generated within collection arms, ductwork and filter systems centrifugal extraction fans are normally specified. Once the system duty point has been confirmed an extraction fan with an appropriate fan curve is specified. All extraction fans are configured to run at a fixed speed but if reduced airflow is required this can be accommodated either by locating a flow control damper upstream of the fan or by installing a frequency inverter to the fan motor.
Remote Belt Driven
AES Belt-driven ventilation fans in which the bladed propeller assembly and the drive motor are remote from each other. Ideal for potentially hazardous enviroments where sparks are not required. Available in two types, axial and centrafugal.
